Leopard & Lumberjack

shirt & jacket (J.Crew), jeans (7FAM), shoes (Schutz, old, love THESE), necklace (Moondance, old), bag (Louis Vuitton Mon Monogram), bracelets (J.Crew, AsosStella & DotVoce on Clay), ring (David Yurman), shades (Gucci), belt (Old Navy), watch (Tag Heuer)
I have been in a majorly casual mood here lately.  It's no surprise that I love a good button down with jeans--I literally could (and sometimes do) where it everyday!  Also not surprising is my love of leopard, be it a big or small dose. It adds just the right amount of print mix to this look.  Leopard is a total neutral in my book so don't be afraid to add it with your rigs for an unexpected pop.  Y'all enjoy your weekend!!

Bejeweled

shirt (Gap sold out), vest (J.Crew), jean leggings(J.Brand), necklace (J.Crew, in stores), boots (Frye), shades (Gucci), ring (David Yurman), Bracelets (Stella & DotAsos, J.Crew), bag (Louis Vuitton), watch (Cartier)
Love sprucing up an otherwise casual rig with a statement bauble. While this gem will definitely be used throughout this holiday season, I love its ability to transition to something more laid back.  Snag a look below at some other gems I'm adoring right now, starting with THIS LOREN HOPE LOVELY.  Y'all make it a good one--packing for a little work trip to Indy so I've gotta scoot!

Pink Lemonade

top (Jcrew), jeans & heels (f21 & Coach), clutch (JJ Winters), wrist candy (Jcrew), ring (Lagos), shades (Gucci)
A rig inspired by a tasty summer beverage....why not?  Fashion inspiration is all around us in forms other than the obvious.  Think interior design, art, or even...some eats!  Hope y'all have a good one--on the go this morn so need to make it short & sweet today!

Yea, Buoy!

shorts & top (Lilly Pulitzer, Peppermint Palm Lex, KY), cardi (Jcrew similar HERE), chucks, (Converse), earrings (Loren Hope, Design Darling), watch (Nordstrom), bracelet (GAP), shades (Gucci), tote (World's Apart, Lex)
S.O.S not needed with this little number!  Shorts covered in colorful floating devices-- how clever can L.P. get?  Pink and green toppers seem the obvious choice; however, next go around, I'm thinking I'll sport some yellow & navy.  Better believe next time I'm on the high seas--I'm wearing these pups for safe measure!  Enjoy the weekend, gang!

Fleur de Jour

jeans (Asos), blouse, belt (Jcrew),  shoes (Zara old), watch (Cartier), bracelets (Jcrew), clutch (Monkees of Lexington), ring (Lagos), nails (Essie Meet me at Sunset), shades (Gucci)
I will be the first to admit this rig on paper would appear to be an absolute train wreck!  Stripes, floral, red, purple, zippers, pearls, leather belt--goodness gracious!  But let's take note of the subtlety in the details.   Clearly the star of this show is the floral jean; therefore, everything else should complement it, not overpower it.  The purple pinstripe is faint enough to do just that.  Also, I am envisioning many combos with these jeans: Red silky blouse, chambray shirt, gray sleeveless tee with flat sandals, pink or pale blue check shirt, just to name a few!  Take a shot at pattern mixing if you have yet to do so...it's a perfect way to infuse instant personality into your look!

Prepster

blouse (Jcrew) jean (Jcrew sold out, inexpensive option HERE or solid option HERE), sweater (GAP),  clutch (Treesje old, super affordable option HERE),  belt (super old school GUCCI), pearls (Target), bracelet & watch (Jcrew), shades (Gucci), flats (VIA SPIGA old)
May we discuss a couple of facts occurring in this Rig?
1.  many pieces have been in the closet for quite some time=closet remix=cost effective!
2.  in my humble opinion, I believe Navy to be one of the best and most versatile bang for your buck shades
(what other color anchors pink, green, and yellow all at the same time)?
3.  Definitely yesterday's news; however, get your hind to Target and raid their jewelry...these are just 3 measly pearl strands, that when combined, make a bit of a statement..and the best part...$11 smacks/strand!  I ransacked their jewelry and found if you double or triple up one piece...it's a goodin!
Needless to say, my wallet and my husband both are huge fans of this particular post!  Remember, just because it isn't new, doesn't mean we can't make it current!
