Snagged this adorable jumper after getting my haircut at Voce.  Yep, you read that right, a salon and a boutique wrapped in one..otherwise known as a damn danger zone---but in the best kinda way.  And you all know my first go to is pairing a frock with Sneaks because it makes it more comfy and kinda de-girlies (is that a word?) it.  Good news for us plaid/check lovers--it's here to stay for the fall--in a major way.  This Plaid Midi and This Checked Number are just two of the several pieces I've been eyeing lately.  Make sure to check out more plaid, gingham, and the like below--ALL UNDER $100 and ready to transition to Fall.  Alright gang, make it a good one and enjoy your evening!

To say that I'm thrilled it's Friday would be an immense understatement---had quite the week of traveling on the road for work and I am zonked!  When I tell you the look above is such a love of mine, I'm not fibbing---it's hard to pick up on in the images, but the faint seersucker blazer (collar popped), a baseball tee, some distressed denim, & chucks---oooooohhh boy, she's a keeper!   I feel completely myself wearing rigs like this--pulled together yet ridiculously comfy!  You can shop the look below.

A weekend filled with family, football, and a fall festival sounds like the absolute perfect one to me!  We have quite a bit on deck for this weekend and can I just say this Splendid Sweatshirt Peacoat is the perfect cozy addition to the outdoor activities.  After all, it has the classic shape of a peacoat with the never ending comfort of a sweatshirt--perfection! Got quite a hectic one ahead of me today!  Therefore, just a few of my favorite things to start off our week.  As are many, I am so Loving the Peter Pan Collar.  It's dainty, feminine, a good foundation for layering...just pure loveliness!  Countering the femininity, one of my fall must haves is a Deep Blue Nail.  Another rich hue that I am coveting and know will carry me through the season... Burgundy. This shade is so perfect for this season and versatile (I paired the above look with a blush blouse).  Switching gears...good ole' college football---a favorite of many! Why not try switching things up from the usual sports Tee & Jeans?  Take your team's color palette (FSU & UK) and infuse it into a fun & casual look!  Alright gang, back to business as usual tomorrow with an outfit post, and the winner will be announced for the BaubleBar Giveaway.  Entry ends this evening at midnight!  Make it a good one!

Back Two School

New LunchBox, Backpack, Threads...could only mean one thing...Back to School Shopping!  Hands down one of my most fave times of year as a kid. I can vividly remember getting home with all of my new goodies, laying them out on my bed, and getting down to the business of the "First Day of School Outfit."  Now my big gal is heading back to 1st grade next week and while she wears the standard khaki/polo school uniform, it got me thinking...What would my back to school uniform look like if I was to head back to the hallowed halls of SFHS?  I love the idea of the traditional khaki/collared shirt all buttoned, tucked, and prepster; however, I would definitely spruce her up a bit with bold hues, bags, and baubles!  If I may make a suggestion for a fall staple purchase...the SchoolBoy Blazer.  I have had this one for at least 5 seasons, I never tire of it, it goes with so many darn things, I am definitely getting it in another shade this season--it's just a goodin!  Y'all can shop pieces of the look below if you so choose:
