A sleek Pencil Skirt, chambray, & detailed Heels infuse a little personality into my day gig and, along with This Style Look, is one of my fave ways to dress for work. This Pencil Skirt is actually much more vibrant in person which is why I chose to tone her down with a chambray (Diggin this Lovely). Classics need not be boring--amp them up with color, prints, textures, & accessories and no doubt you've elevated your look!

Quite possibly one of my fave ways to dress for work. A simple silky style blouse with some trousers and Flats. It's perfectly pulled together and more importantly, comfy and cool with these insanely high temps! And I don't believe there to be a better combo than navy & gold---classic & timeless--could wear it for days! So here's how you avoid looking like you're wearing Nana's drapes---pair a fun Floral Sheath with some Denim, Studded Chucks, & a Structured Tote and voila---you've anchored the flowers and will not look like walking drapery! Since I've been spouting off at the mouth about transitional wear, I'm thinking if we paired this floral number with a black blazer & some chunky heels, we may be able to carry her into the cooler months---whatcha think? Agreed?

Big thanks to my gal, Danielle, for loaning me these palms---I've worn the hell outta them (see the fronds HERE). And as much as I'd like to go on and on about the relaxed fit fronds, this Elaine Turner Tortoise Tote deserves all the cred in this post. I sooooo love this bag--even though summer is winding down, I've used it for pool, travel, and errands and intend to use it until the very last little bit of summer (and my trips home to FLA this fall/winter). I'm pretty tempted to snag THIS cork version while I'm at it--it's the perfectly versatile classic tote! One other thing I am desperate to snag is a new navy sweater--I've worn the one above to death and I'm pretty sure I can no longer hide the fact it's starting to pill. Do y'all have any suggestions for a good navy sweater--love this Merino Version but kinda in the market for something a little chunkier with more texture. Alright gang, make it a good one! Oh and PS, be patient if you notice a few tweeks going on with the blog format--ole' s + s is getting a face lift in the upcoming weeks--cannot wait to share!

Kid you not, gang, these Marc Allison Bells are my current faves. Serious love affair going on with their fit and flattering bell cut. Since the jeans are a statement all their own, I kept her pretty simple and streamlined with a men's button down shirt. And I'm quite excited that Marc Allison Jeans is gifting a pair to an s + s reader! The lucky winner is going to L O V E these bad boys--seriously!
