This look started with these Crepe Shorts--just adore their fit. Relaxed & pleated, these silky lovelies are gonna prove to be a versatile little pair this spring/summer. I loved them so much, in fact, that I snagged a navy pair as well which I def intend to pair with my navy blazer for a daytime work look.

I swear (I think), I will not make y'all suffer through another look with these sweats. May I preface this little blurb with the fact that it was crazy windy near this row of stables so apologies for the unruly 'do (probably shouldn't have posted that last shot, but whatevs)! I wore the upper half of this look to Work with Bubblegum Pink Pants several weeks ago and knew I wanted to give it a run with some Boyfriends. Perfect for dinner with the gals or even a date night, this graphic black and white combo is both modern and fresh while also crazy comfy. Definitely plan on pairing this upper half with Red Pants or even keeping her classic with black slacks and a pop of Blue. Many a possibility with this little graphic number! I had a serious case of the giggles in these pics---no doubt KT and I were trash talking like sailors or cursing at the weather or something (we tend to get a little slap happy during our pics). Anyhow, I've been on a big black & white kick this winter and this little rig is no exception. For me when I opt to go B&W, I just need a slight element of interest--here the gingham and rugby stripes fit the bill just fine. Add a striped trench and some metallic heels and I'm a happy chap. A color combo I've loved for quite a bit now---black & blue. These PERFORATED FLATS kinda set the tone for the rest of this rig. There's just something very clean and modern about the combo and not to mention, it's pretty classic as well. I've touted my love of the Edgemonts HERE, HERE, and HERE, rest assured this denim version I snaked from Morton James in Lexington is no exception. I've had them for two weeks and I've easily worn them five times if not more (Exhibit A & Exhibit B).
