Pretty clear based on my recent posts (and even some from the archives), I'm having a thing for the Denim Cutoff this summer.  Paired with a blouse, a Blazera tee, Sneaks, or heels, they're undoubtedly versatile, cozy, and a wear-with-anything kinda short.  And while Paige Denim is serving up some of my favorite current cuts, I can't deny Old Navy is giving us some super cute (and affordable) options.  Alright gang, see some other faves belows .  As suspected, it's a dreary lazy day here in Lex, we're gonna venture on foot to the book store and ice cream here shortly but for now, I'm still perusing THIS DANGER ZONE.  Y'all make it a fab one and enjoy your Saturday!

The Sale

It's that beloved time of year where the Sale Gods descend upon us.  And by Sale I mean THE Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  Don't tell anyone, but I've kinda been counting down the days until this sucker kicks off.  Since I'm already in shopping mode, figured I'd share my fave finds with you all in the hopes we can all score some goodies together.  Ok, so top on my list are obviously THESE SNEAKS, in addition to some LEOINITIALSSUEDEMICHAELCUFF, and ONESIE--not too terrible, but I gotta narrow down my faves just a smidge!  Feel free to click directly on the pics below and it'll take you right to the SALE.  Good luck and get it while the gettin' is good--ends on August 3rd!
Alright gang, make it a great one..think we have some rainy weather in store for the Bluegrass so it looks like some laziness is in store for our weekend....sounds just perfect!

The Garden Variety

dress (Tory Burch, AJs Casuals c/o, available online HERE), bag (Rebecca Minkoff ON SALE), ballets (DVF, see similar HERE), cuff (Similar), rings (Lagos, Gili), shades (Banana Republic c/o, love THESE)

I just adore this Tory Burch dress from AJs Casuals.  Light and airy with feminine details and a flattering shape, it is a lovely addition to the summer wardrobe.  And while I kept it girly with a pair of  ballets...you all have to know I was actually wanting to pair it with some Baby Blue Sneaks--next go around for sure!
Alright gang..y'all have a great Wednesday.  Some adorable TB's shown below and be sure to stay tuned for some of my picks from the infamous Nordstrom Anniversary Sale--sucker is gonna be good.

Leo Gets Casual

tee (Chico's c/o), jacket (HM see similar HERE love this NAVY Version), shorts (Levis's, Urban Outfitters, see similar HERE), belt (Morton James), sneaks (Converse), bag (Louis Vuitton), cuff (Similar), ring (Kendra Scott, lagos, Anna Beck), necklaces (Target x 2, try doubling up THIS), boyfriends (JBrand), ballets (Loeffler Randall, Omar + Elsie, avail online HERE)

I’m a bit of a broken record when it comes to chatting about Leopard,  my love for it, how it’s a neutral, yada yada yada.  But when you have a love for something that never disappoints, always adds a little something to your look, and essentially goes with any and everything, well, I think it warrants some repetition!
So let’s chat about the versatility of this Leopard Tee shall we now?  You all know I like to tomboy up just about anything and adding a pair of denim cutoffs a khaki cargo jacket, and some sneaks will toughen up the Leo just right.  Adding some Boyfriends, some chunky baubles, and a pair of Printed Ballets still keep the Leo casual but add a hint of femininity as well which I’m always a fan of.  I also envision topping the Leo with a brightly colored blazer and a high waisted skirt for a lovely work look.  What do you all think of the dual animal print?  At first I was a bit on the fence as the prints don’t mirror one another, but I kinda dig the quirk of pairing two prints---the key I believe it to keep it subtle.
Just a little random sidenote as I know many of us are traveling quite a bit this part of summer (I’m actually already prepping, aka shopping, for a Brazil trip in the fall)—may I suggest outfits such as these for your trips, the versatility of the Leo will carry you through your travels and indeed make any Destination Fabulous!  Alright gang, make it a good one…enjoy your week!
