This look is another take on this Baby Blues Look I've worn the hell out of this summer.  This Tibi Blouse From AJs Casuals is just a smidge dressier than the Striped Smock, but is still so very effortless and comfy.   And I simply love it paired with this Tassle Necklace from AJs...not much else is required with the bold splash of orange, am I right? 

Alright gang, I hate to cut this one short, but I (sadly) am enjoying the train wreck that is Bachelor in Paradise.  I am fully aware of how shameful this admission is but who doesn't love a good dose of mindless entertainment?  Hope you all are having a great start to your week--feel free to shop the look below--make it a great one!

My Cozy Nook

I wanted the vibe of my bedroom (correction, a closet with a bed--there's clothes and shoes E V E R Y W H E R E) to be similar to the rest of our HOME--light, airy, and girly with a fresh feel to it.  This is where Meghann from Adele just Gets It.  She knows me, she knows my vibe, she knows the girls, she knows my budget, She. Just. Knows.  And girlfriend delivers every dang time.  I love that she has the ability to either accentuate what you already have with some key accessories (pillows, lamps, etc) or just redo the whole dang space from top to bottom.  I'm thrilled that Adele is relocating (next to Josie's) to a much larger space in September which means many more goodies for us Lexingtonians (outta staters, don't fret, they'll ship).  Be sure to check out other goodness from Meghann (see Entertaining, Chaser, & Campbell).  Also, one of my fave chambrays (orig from Omar + Elsie) is now ON SALE---shop my laid-back look below!

Summer Brights

It's that point in the summer where it's hotter than the hubs of hell, and yet, we're all starting to get Fall on the Brain.  Keep jonesing for the fall, gang, because with temps in the upper 80s and 90s, it's Lightweight Rompers and flowy maxi dresses, a la AJs Casuals,  that will help us beat this insane summer heat.  With their vibrant colors, these looks call for minimal accessories.  A simple pair of Metallic Flats & a striped Straw Tote (on major SALE) are the perfect partners in crime for summer lovelies such as these.  Feel free to take a look at bits and pieces from this post below and hit up the gals at AJs Casuals if interested in the maxi!  Cheers to a great Thursday, gang, make it a great one!

The Casual Cotton

Sitting here as I type staring at this Duffle overflowing with clothes from a quick little trip I made to Indy yesterday.  Which is exactly my point....she's perfect for trips of any kind be them quick or extended.  I brought this Barrington Duffle with me to Sonoma and a handful of weekender trips in between.  It's the perfect size and I love the option of a cross body or over the shoulder--the monogram doesn't hurt either.

As for the rig, I like to travel comfortably and SUNDRY is not only comfy, but ridiculously cute (see Muscle Stripes, Muscle Hearts, & Side Slit Stripes).  This Sundry Hoodie from Omar + Elsie is a current cotton fave that could be worn 'round the clock.  Omar + Elsie has a stellar collection of Sundry so indeed give their Insta a sneak peek for some solid threads (mention s + s for a little discount and they'll ship outta state, too).

Yes, this LEO SKIRT is indeed the highlight of this look, but what you may not realize is how perfect my A. St. Clair Tee is.  I am always on the search for the perfect tee, and this Crewneck Muscle Tee is serving it up in a major way.  What I'm loving about the A. St. Clair Tees, aside from the fact that the designer Annie is a fellow Kentuckian, is how you can mix and match lengths, necklines, and sleeves.  And when I say the material is soft---I may or may not have slept in mine the other night after wearing it all day--softest tee ever!  Stay tuned for another look featuring the longer muscle tee--my favorite cut from the A. St. Clair Line.
