I promise you, FLARES have a knack for slenderizing the legs and being ridiculously flattering. Cleary based on the shots above (some from last year), I've been a fan for quite some time so I thought it was appropriate to do a little flare mashup for you all. For fall, I'm loving the idea of them paired with a Chunky Poncho ( I have this by the way and cannot WAIT to sport), Cropped Sweater, or a Flowy Button Down. I'm telling you gang, if you've yet to hop on the 70s bandwagon, toss on some Wedges and give 'em a go---you won't be sorry! Sported this look while in NYC last week and it will definitely be making some repeat performances in the near future. This Floral Swing Shirt is equal parts effortless and cozy (not to mention she's on major S A L E) and she pairs just beautifully with a dark pair of FLARES. For a fun fall transition, I'm digging the idea of the Flares partnered with a Striped Cropped Sweater--has an ever so slight 70s vibe but still just the right amount of polish! Pairing perfectly with a slew of fall looks---my Cognac Crossbody--she was tried and true in the spring and summer and no doubts she'll serve it up in the fall, too!

BUSY. We are all busy relatively speaking, aren't we? Whether it's schlepping the kids around, getting from one meeting to the next, getting your personal life in order amongst the chaos of your professional life---we are all B U S Y. I'm a one man show running my ship so my "busy" can be a cluster from time to time although I'd like to think I've got it all in order and it looks neat, pretty, and controlled (it ain't btw--just take a look at my laundry room--or hell, MY room for that matter). With that being said, I need to keep myself and my brood fueled. I am often guilty of going until 3 pm only to realize I've only had my Starbucks and then gorge myself on unhealthy snacks--it's not good not to mention terribly unhealthy. And the kiddies require a SNACK everyday at school, in their lunch boxes, and are savages when I pick them up--so what's the solution? Nourish Snacks my friends, Nourish Snacks.
