A self professed Sneak Addict, I am always on the hunt for new kicks.  It should come as no surprise then that these Cole Haan Sneaks from Nordstrom were on my radar the moment I saw them.  What with their Leopard Print and ridiculously comfy fit, knew they had to be mine the minute I tried them on.  Another pair I'm clocking from Nordstrom are these Perforated Kicks in Navy--but I need another pair like I need a hole in the head!  While these Leo's could pair with a slew of things, I really do love how they stand out against a neutral outfit--black and tan has quickly become one of my fave combos!  Alright gang, speaking of Nordstrom, I'm actually headed to our Cincy store here in just a few to snag a few fall finds.  Feel free to shop some of my fave Cole Haan Kicks from Nordstrom (how gorg are these BOOTIES) below!  Cheers to a wonderful weekend gang, make it a great one!

As much as I'd like to think I can fit in workouts quickly followed by a shower, outfit change, full face, hair done---that just ain't the reality of my days.  And I have a sneaking suspicion many of us are in the same boat.  I'm constantly on the lookout (and in need of) for workout wear that is functional at the gym but also can carry me through the rest of my day post workout--say for errands, meetings, and the like.  Enter the Derek Lam 10C Athleta Collection   Talk about a dual-purpose line--and ridiculously fashionable too....pieces that can take you from your workout and beyond are right up my alley indeed.  I'm so in love with this Grey Dress that I've easily slipped on a handful of times to run around town or with the little ladies.  And the vibrant blue leggings and top are absolutely perfect for my workouts--flattering and functional!  Definitely take a gander at the Derek Lam 10C Athleta Collection if in the market for some sleek and functional workout gear-I've got this top and these leggings on my radar!

The Fall Faves

The weather got a little brisk here in the Bluegrass this weekend, so naturally I hopped online and started scoping out some fall finds.  No better time to create a wishlist of some key pieces this Fall that will carry us well into Winter.  

A Chunky Turtleneck.  How beautifully would this knit pair with a Denim Skirt or a pair of Flare Jeans?  Absolutely perfect fall rig! 

A Denim Dress.  Don't you love the idea of this frock paired with Booties or Plaid Sneaks layered with a Trench?

A Blanket Scarf.  Snatch 'em now before The Blankets sell out.

Jackets.  Nothing screams fall like Parkas, Trenches, & Anoraks.  

A Satchel.  With a beautiful slate hue, this one is a beaut.  

Joggers.  Just because.  (how 'bout these Plaid Joggers)

Flattering knits.  Comfy and flattering--done and done.

Now that we're officially embarking on Fall, I wanted to do a little Fall Shoe Review to make our shoe updating status a bit easier.  Booties, OTK Boots, Sneaks, & Hi Tops are all at the top of the list!  Three others that I have yet to photograph but I've added to the repertoire and I'm absolutely loving are these Suede Booties, Rain Boots & these Flat Navy Booties.  Hopefully this will make everyone's updating the kicks a smidge easier!  Feel free to shop my fall kick picks below---cheers to a great weekend, gang, make it a great one!

The Fall Fitness

Always on the hunt for solid fitness (or just kick it) gear, I am a little embarrassed to admit I've just been introduced to Carbon38...I mean have I been living under a dang rock or what?  With designers such as Zoe Karssen (how cute is this sweatshirt), Mara Hoffman, & the Upside, Carbon38 has curated some of the best (and unique) fitness gear I've seen in a while--absolutely love this site!  And absolutely loving my Camo Bralette & Crops....I'm a real stickler for comfy, stay-in-place-not-show-sweat kinda gear and these babies do just that!  Wore this yesterday to workout and ended up staying in it ALL DAY!  Highly recommend you give Carbon38 a peruse...I went ahead and linked my look and some others I'm digging below---feel free to shop the looks!
