The Preppy Tomboy

I absolutely love the distressed meets polished combo.  It's right up my alley and a style I go to more often than not.  To me, there's something so effortless about that preppy tomboy vibe.  Super easy to pull off,  too--just snag a Plaid Blazer, a pair of Distressed Boyfriends, and some Loafers and voila--easy as pie.   
I'm just getting back into the swing of things from our trip to Mexico which was simply AMAZING.  But you know how that goes---need a vacation from the vacation sitch going on over here.  You all have a wonderful start to your week--make it a great one!

Fall Watercolors

It's not often that I sport the whole Dress & Booties look, not that I don't absolutely love it, it's just I find myself grabbing a pair of Distressed Boyfriends & a Chunky Sweater instead.  With all that hub bub being said, I really do love this look.  It's terribly easy and comfy and is a nice change from my uniform.  The Booties are ones that can easily be dressed up or down and this French Connection Frock is perfect for the fall but also through the winter with a pair of tights and a Tissue Turtleneck.  Dresses that are multi seasonal are right up my alley indeed!

Fall is well underway which means we can bust out the Sweaters, the Puffs, and no doubt THE TWEED.  Absolutely adoring this Navy Number from Sail to Sable.  Perfect for your Sunday Best, a baby or bridal shower, luncheon, day at the Races, she's a beauty for a slew of occasions.  No stranger to Sail to Sable (see HERE HERE & HERE), I am digging their fall line--especially this Navy Tweed Jacket I recently got my hands on--stay tuned to see her in an upcoming post!
