Case In Point

You know when I put together looks, there's quite a bit I take into consideration.  Yes, my style is relatively classic and simple what with this plaid button down and my go to flares; however, it's all about the little details in my book.   Love to add that little element of pop or quirk, be it in the way of a Leo Bag, Berry Lip Color or Nails, or even my Cell Phone Case.

May sound silly but think about it, gang, what's our main accessory as of late?  That one thing we never leave home without.  Ever.  Our Cell Phones, am I right?  Especially with the holidays what with all the list making, instagramming, pic taking—my cell is like my right arm these days!  So why would we not take advantage of showcasing our style even with our tele's?

Case in point, I'm all about doing that print mix—so I took advantage of this tomboy vibe phone cover from STIL—I love that it's got that masculine meets feminine vibe and pairs perfectly with my Plaid Button Down—which I just so happen to own a T O N of.   I'm also big on texture and feel, and this Plaid Cell Phone Case has a great feel in my mits...not to mention it's already proven to effectively protect my phone...ie:  I've dropped the hell out of it and it's still in one piece!

There's a boatload of Cases to Choose From that would make for the perfect gift or stocking stuffer—I'm digging this Pale Pink Number as a matter of fact--a perfect accessory for your feminine friend!  Be sure to take a gander at all the fun and fashionable cases STIL has to offer—goodin's indeed, gang, that serve as that perfect finishing touch to your rig.
Alright gang, cheers to a wonderful start to your Wednesday--make it a great one!

The Farm

hers:  sweater (HM c/o), buffalo shirt (Talbots c/o), puff worn not pictured (Talbots c/o), denim (dl1961 see SIMILAR), sneaks (Converse), beanie (Sole Society c/o), jumpsuit (Glamorous c/o Nordstrom UNDER $50), leo bag (Clare V)
his:  shirt (Rag & Bone), sneaks (Adidas Stan Smith), denim (Hudson), puff (HM ON SALE), blazer & jacket (custom c/o Tom James Clothing)

I've heard about it.  I've wanted to visit for quite sometime.  I've known I would absolutely fall in love with its Rustic-meets-Luxury vibe.  But not this hard.  Not at first site.
Nestled in the Smoky Mountains right outside of Knoxville, Tennessee, Blackberry Farm had me smitten from the moment John and I arrived.  We knew we wanted fabulous eats and drinks,  gorgeous nature only the South can offer coupled with a healthy dose of relaxation and can I just say, Blackberry Farm delivered.  And then delivered again.
From our Whiskey tasting upon arrival to our private cooking demo and wine cellar tour with the terribly talented Jeff Ross--his carrot salad was I N S A N E--to our couples' massages complete with a tranquility room filled with hanging daybeds---the trip was just beyond lovely and memorable for us.  I have to say; however, mine and John's fave part of the trip was when the fellas at the front (have I mentioned how dang hospitable Blackberry is) mapped out a fun little excursion by way of golf cart on the grounds of the farm.  Complete with a bottle (or two) of wine and some blankets, we spent the better part of the afternoon touring Blackberry in all its beautiful glory snapping pics of any and everything.  Creeks, ponds, mountains, foliage, fire pits surrounded by rockers, farm houses, horses, a new litter of Lagotto Romagnolo Pups, farm animals galore (sheep roam the grounds), and too much beautiful scenery to capture, it was an absolutely perfect afternoon--truly.   I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the food and wine.  Good Lord, my words won't do the deliciousness justice.  I consumed entirely too much (hence our devoured dessert plate pictured above) but goodness was it worth it.  Our palettes were spoiled indeed.
I cannot thank the staff enough for the lovely accomodations and their attention to EVERY detail.  You all set the bar high for future getaways.  It's really not a question of "If" we go back to Blackberry Farm, it's more like, "When."  #nextyear
Hope y'all enjoy our candid snaps from our trip---feel free to shop mine and John's relaxed rigs below.

A Christmas List

This post was sponsored by eBay

sweater (Gap ON SALE), button down (H & M c/o), denim (Paige), sneaks (Converse), camera, cell phone, headphones, wallet (Ebay c/o)

'Tis the season for getting those goodies crossed off our Xmas lists!  I'll admit, I started shortly after Halloween for the bunnies and my fam.  Not one to shy away from a good deal, I opted to go a slightly different route this year and snag some items for the friends, fam, and maybe myself, from eBay.  Paying attention to both a budget and one stop shopping is kinda imperative for my Holiday needs.  Look, I've got a boatload of people to buy for so it's sort of a no brainer to hit up eBay.  Especially considering they house both unique A N D hot ticket items at quite the solid price tag.  Case in point, these Friends Rose Gold Headphones.  I've been scouting out these bad boys for quite awhile and was thrilled when I found them on eBay for less than what I would have spent in other stores----they have my best friend's name written all over them!   Always a lover of Kate Spade, I knew my sister would absolutely adore this wallet and what a shopping win that I snagged it for less than what I would've paid at the department stores.  There's something quite gratifying when you score that item you've been eyeing for a bit at a fraction of the price, don't ya think?  I was in M A J O R need of a new phone case and Tory Burch never disappoints.   Thankfully, eBay has a stellar selection of TB--almost too good, I could've snagged multiples.  And lastly, and this may be my most favorite gift I've purchased thus far---the Fujifilm camera.  So much so I may keep it for myself--is that terrible?

Here's the deal, gang, and I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir....I'm all about making this Holiday Shopping Season easier (and more affordable).  One stop shopping, crossing multiple names off the list in one fell swoop, snagging that item you can't seem to find in the stores--it's key, right?  I'm telling you, thus far, eBay is serving it up this Holiday Season....definitely becoming a go to for my Kiddies' never ending Xmas Lists!  Cheers to a great start to your week gang--make it a great one!

The Personal Gift

Some of my absolute favorite gifts to give (and receive) are those that are PERSONALIZED.  It just feels like a bit more thought was put into the gift!  Always an avid fan of Mark & Graham, I am absolutely adoring the GIFTS they're serving up for the Holidays.  I mean truly, you can basically tackle your whole list in one fell swoop.  And they've got some great goodies on SALE, too, so definitely take a gander....these Beauties   are in the cart as we speak!
Alright, gang, John and I are en route home to the bunnies after an insanely amazing getaway to Blackberry Farm--can't wait to share all of the deets!  You all have a lovely start to your weekend--make it a great one!
