Bold Florals have always been a fave of mine and this dress from Morton James  is no exception.  They're known for having a superb selection of dresses for day or night and this lovely is the perfect partner for a dose of stripes.  While this clutch from Sole Society  is sold out, I'm loving the idea of stripes on a Weekender & Loafers .  Make sure to take a gander at some similar florals below (all but one under $100).  Cheers to a relaxing Sunday, gang---counting down 'til the Oscars tonight!

Classic Corset

I kinda let these HEELS do their thing and let the rest of this rig stay relatively minimal.  Here's what I dig about a good corset heel--yes, they're high, but they secure the hell outta your ankle and keep your feet all snug and in place if you will.  You all may be bored to tears with my black and white looks these days but I try to prevent the boredom and monotony by adding elements such as the HEELS and SPOTS.  Don't fret, I'm bringing color back here soon--in the meantime, check out some other lovely CORSETS below.  Y'all enjoy your day and make it a good one!

Get Spotted

While we're still in the thick of summer (thank goodness), I can't help but sorta kinda start thinking about pieces for fall.  I know, I hate when I do this, putting the seasonal cart before the horse, but I think since school just started back up, I know it's just a matter of time before the temps start to dip.  So with that being said, while This MAXI speaks more towards the summer months, I definitely plan on throwing a Cable Knit Sweater over it with some Red Sneaks for the fall.  What needs no help transitioning into next season?  This Gigi New York Lauren Bag.  Navy (and leopard) are the best neutrals in my opinion and the crossbody style is so up my alley--no doubts I will be sporting this sucker a ton in the upcoming months--just love it!  To celebrate the launch of the Lauren, s + s readers can receive FREE SHIPPING on any Gigi Purchase of $100 or more with code SSFREESHIP (valid until 8/22). A Tale of Two Bikes

While this look as zero to do with bicycles, Kristin and I kinda loved them for the backdrop of these Kate Spade Pants (not to mention they were parked right outside of our fave lunch joint, Doodles, where we shortly thereafter devoured sammies and such).  Based on this POST, there's no denying my current love of the palm frond---it simply screams summer and is such a fresh print--I have no doubts I'll own several palm pieces by the season's end.
