Love myself a good tomboy look any day of the week. This French Connection top from Morton James is the perfect blend of masculine meets feminine. Part masculine for its buttoned up full coverage vibe and yet the billowy shape adds the perfect touch of girly (LOFTalso has some good SALE options). If you're in the market for some fellow French Connection threads, I've added a few below I'm eyeing including my BLACK JUMPSUIT ON SALE...I can attest that this one is a goodin'...perfect for holiday soirees! If local, make sure you swing by Morton James on Small Business Saturday this weekend as they have an amaze selection of French Connection --the entire store (including my shirt above) will be on sale. Shoes are 40% off--AND sale items will be marked down to 75% off! Definitely worth a trip--even if not local, they'll ship out of state, too! Alright gang, here's to a great Tuesday---make it a good one!
Could she get any more bright and cheery than this Fair Isle Sweater(30% off with code FESTIVE)? I think not! I have to say this is the first Fair Isle I've owned in ages. It would make for the perfect gift, too---at least I know I'd like to receive something warm and cozy like this (take note, mom..no more kitchen knives) for the holidays.
And on the gift giving note, I've got a goodin' for any lovely lady in your life ( think mom, sis, daughter, or yourself really for that matter). My Stella & Dot Monogrammed Necklace has quickly become one of my everyday pieces (so much so, you'll see me style it throughout upcoming posts). The fact that it has my girls' initials on it makes it that much more special. The fact that it is under $60--makes it that much more fantastic. And finally, the fact that Stella & Dot stylist Claire Birmingham is offering s + s readers 10% off purchases of $50 or more (which this Lovely applies) makes it just that much more necessary to snag. If y'all are game for a little discount, just shoot Claire an email at ccbirm (at) sbcglobal (dot) net OR message her directly on HER S & D SITE and she'll take care of you all. Y'all enjoy your evening and feel free to shop the look below along with some additional fair isle(s). Make it a good one!
I hopped on the bandwagon like many of you and bought this Coat (see SIMILAR) because frankly it was just too dang good to pass up. Always an avid lover or plaid, checks, gingham and the like, I knew this sucker would be a great topper for many a looks. Yes, sadly, there is a limited selection of sizes left, but don't fret as I've scouted out some other super cute buffalo (see HERE, HERE, HERE). Alright gang, cheers to a fab weekend--it's beyond frigid as I know it is in many parts of the country--stay bundled!
This HAT definitely ain't new news, tons of people have been spotted sporting it, but ooohhh do I love it. No stranger to the ball cap (see HERE), I knew I had to add this 'dressier' version to my arsenal. I've had it for about a week now and I've already worn it HERE, errands, school drop off when my hair is truly an atrocity--pretty much every day--would so wear it to work if I could. I'm also planning to nix the metallic loafers next go around and pair this look with some KICKS and a quirky SCARF for a more casual & cozy feel....which is kinda the beauty of these Leather Detailed Pants. I've sported them a little dressier for work HEREand clearly they transition into the casual role pretty easily, too! Alright gang, make it a good one!
What is there really to say about this rig other than I just love it. I love it for its classic simplicity, comfort, ease and of course the metallic oxfords! I scooped them up while in NYC at one of the umpteenth Zaras and I am sooooo glad I did---worn the heck outta them. One little switch up I did was buttoning up the blouse circa 1986 --look, I'll never break away from my popped collar, but this was a good little change to my norm. Alright gang, I'm headed to Louisville for some work and a little coffee date with this Cat--y'all make it a great one!
