How 'bout these two silly geese?  Here are some things I know about these sisters...they love sundaes, silliness, each other, and their new Sandals from Nordstrom.  Upon setting their sites on these metallics & cognacs, kiddos couldn't get them on their pigs fast enough!  In addition to the adorable kids' threads (how cute is this striped number), Nordstrom serves up a ridiculously cute dose of kids' sandals (see Gladiators & Metallics), too!  I'm gonna say our Spring Break shopping excursion at Nordstrom was indeed a success considering the little ladies have worn their new Sandals 'round the clock!  Stay tuned for Cam the Ham's take on a more sporty spring look with these kicks.

I've learned over the years how to perfect shopping for my girls.  I remember when Chase was born, that kid got fancy pants everything (read:  Gold Ralph Lauren Driving Loafers).  That's all good and great except upon her outgrowing things she maybe..maybe wore things once..if at all--because really, what newborn wears gold loafers (#firsttimemom)?!?  So, with that being said, I've learned to invest in things wisely with the kids that I know will be worn a ton (like a Classic Jacket ).  I can also justify spending a little more jingle on Chase because ultimately Cam is going to wear it, too, so it's a more-bang-for-your-buck situation.  
Now that we are embarking on Spring and the girls have not an item of spring clothes that fit them---Mommy is in the market for some new kiddie threads!  Which means Mommy has been scouring the Nordstrom Kids section.  I spent the better part of Tuesday night online shopping for the gals and fell in love with the Nordstrom Burberry Kids selection.  This Hopscotch Tee caught my eye for my Tomboy, Chaser, and so it definitely went in the ol' shopping cart.  For a kid that loves casual and you have to pin down to wear a dress, Fun Graphic Tees are key because she'll wear the heck outta them!  Nordstrom's Burberry Selection of tees is just perfect because they balance cute, cool, and quality.  I'm still in the market for Easter dresses for the girls (which will serve double duty for Keeneland as well) and I just adore this Plaid Frock....would be perfect for both occasions!

See, this is how I justify shopping for myself during the holiday season.  I pick places where I can buy my kids goodies and well, whaddya know...I can shop for myself, too!  Thank you very much, Nordstrom!  This will be the first of several gift guides and since I've started scouting out treats for my girls--figured we'd begin with the kiddies.  Literally, as I draft this post--I've got the oldest daughter asking for THIS  the youngest wanting THIS (great throwback gift, right), and they're both currently playing with THIS (it is the cutest set--they play Ice Cream Shop all of the time)!  Truly, aside from the adorable threads Nordstrom has for the little ones (adore THESE  & THESE FRINGED), they've got a super cute GIFT SELECTION--the Melissa & Doug is my fave.  Typically, I don't start my shopping until Black Friday, but these arctic temps have me kicking my holiday shopping into high gear!  Alright gang, make it a good one!  Feel free to shop my kiddo picks below:

It's been cozy, stay inside kinda weather here in the Bluegrass lately and well, these Pajamas from Nordstrom, are indeed our uniform of choice on such days.  We sort of don't take them off on such weekends--I. Love. It.  Thankfully these jammies from Nordstrom, are equally as comfy as they are cute. F U N!  Yes, with these two sillies, there's always a hefty dose of fun going down.  My girls love to get dressed up now and again, but more often than not, my two bunnies want to be cool and comfy....and thanks to the adorable threads from Tucker + Tate at Nordstrom they're able to do just that!  Casual, Fun, & Great Quality, this playful line from Nordstrom is definitely one of our current faves.  Big sis just had to have the hashtag while little miss was smitten with the kitten.  Make sure to check out some of our top Tucker + Tate picks from Nordstrom (this Star Sweater is at the top of my list) below.  Cheers to a lovely start to your week--make it a good one, gang!
