Fresh Floral

dress (Zara), bag (vintage, Street Scene, Lexington), shoes (Nine West), watch (Michael Kors), necklace (Maya Brenner), shades (Ray Ban), ring (Lagos)
Easy, Breezy, & Floral...doesn't get more spring/summer than that.  No doubt this Maxi will carry me through September.  Casual enough for an early evening out with the gals but dressy enough for an outdoor summer wedding, maxi dresses are the perfect versatile piece for the warmer months.  Check out other maxis having their moment below.  You all enjoy your Wednesday & make it a good one!

Hello Sunshine

dress (Zara), shoes (Zara), clutch (JJ Winters), necklaces (BaubleBar, BaubleBar), watch (Cartier), ring (Lagos)
So I discovered something with this look...I REALLY love the look of yellow & lilac together!  I am already envisioning some yellow jeans with a lilac top maybe anchored with a navy or white blazer.  But let's talk about this Yellow Dress (disclaimer here, get yourself a tan prior to wearing unlike my dang pasty legs).  Here's what I love about it...it goes with a slew of colors--turquoise, purple, hot pink, red, black or even white. Big fan of  a frock that's fluid, comfy, & most importantly---versatile!  Alright, gang, enjoy the weekend & make it a good one!

PS:  Think I'm having some comment issues with Disqus--hope to have it resolved shortly!

A Trendy Classic

dress (Zara), jacket (HM, see Similar), shoes (Belle by Sigerson Morrison), bag (Michael Kors), watch (Cartier), ring (Kendra Scott), bracelets (J.Crew), shades (Ray Ban)
Part trendy for the black & white and yet all the way classic with the black & white, the stripes and khaki anorak.  That's basically what had me sold with this dress is its ability to be current and yet still be classic all at the same time.  Quite important when choosing your frocks if you ask me!  You all make it a good one--I am actually MOVING this weekend (still in Lexington) and therefore my list of TO DOs today is quite insane...Can't wait to get all settled in the new nest!

Work & Play

look 1//blouse, skirt, vest (J.Crew), heels (Michael Kors--options below), belt (J.Crew), bag (Burberry), shades (Ray Ban), watch (Cartier), rings (David YurmanStella & Dot), initial necklace (Maya Brenner)  look 2//dress (Zara), jacket (Banana Republic--options below), necklace (J.Crew), shoes (Enzo Angiolini--old), shades (Chanel), bracelets (J.Crew)
Remember Monday's POST?  The vest is just another way to add an element of ease to the skirt suit.  As for this little petal number, I hope it's a friendly reminder that our summer frocks can certainly transition thru the Fall or possibly even the Winter.  Whether you toss on a leather jacket to toughen em' up or a pair of tights, remember to let your lovely little summer pieces appear throughout the upcoming seasons!  Alternative options of my fave pieces from these looks (Leo + Leather) can be seen below....check it!
