Whether you like a little or a lot of leopard, every gal should own at least one pair of Leopard Shoes. It's been pretty well established that they are indeed a neutral, so why not have a pair handy when you want to throw some fun into your rigs? I've been a longtime lover of the leo (examples A & B) and continue to add to the collection---see HERE. I'd say if you're new in the market, maybe start out with something subtle like a Sandal or a Sporty Slip On--either way you can't go wrong! Alright gang, feel free to shop the spots below and check out This Morning's Post..one of my faves as of late--make it a great one!

My Life in Leopard
"...as far as I'm concerned, leopard is a neutral," damn straight, Jenna Lyons, damn straight. How can we really debate this as being fact? Neutrals, stripes, brights, double dosed (hell, even triple dosed), gingham, gold, pearls, plaids--my love of leo is NEVER ending and wanna know why...she goes with everything! I've spouted off at the mouth countless times about my loyalty to leo and how I, too, have always viewed it as a neutral. Be fearless when it comes to the pattern, just remember to either use in small doses or if using larger say in the ways of jeans, a dress, or a blouse--tone everything else down and keep her classic. Check out some leo I'm clocking below. Alright gang, cheers to a fab week--we've got ourselves another snow day--make it a good one!

Red Does Red
jacket (Gap, loved THIS STRIPED NUMBER), pants (J.Crew, love THIS COLOR), blouse (J.Crew), heels (J.Crew), rings (Anna Beck, David Yurman), watch (Cartier), bracelets (Sylvia Benson c/o), shades (Gucci)
Wondering why in the sam hell I'm wearing this work look in the snow? Yea, me too. In all honesty, I sported this look a few weeks back before it got insanely cold and kinda couldn't resist having KT snap a few pics of it in Lexington's version of a blizzard (horrible planning on my part). Interestingly enough, it's separates and not a suit which I'm a huge fan of doing even if not in the same hue. Indeed it's bold to pull out all red look with dual leopard, but I'm on board with it as long as it's all tucked, polished, and topped off with subtle gold accessories. Alright gang, make it a good one---look at the yahoo below trying to get her "shot"--so serves me right for attempting to wear such weather inappropriate garb!

Hair Raising
coat (J.Crew 30% off with GIFTNOW), oxford (Old Navy on SALE, check out Polka Dot Oxford under $20!), jeans (Current/Elliot), heels (J.Crew 30% OFF with GIFTNOW), scarf (Abercrombie old, other Pom Poms HERE, HERE), belt (C.Wonder), bag (Michael Kors), rings (David Yurman, Lagos, Anna Beck), shades (Banana Republic c/o LOVE THESE 40% off with BRGIFT40)
I NEED A HAIRCUT. BADLY. I have tried to grow this mane out but folks, I don't see it happening. Have an appt this week with my gal, Shawnee, from Voce and I'm thinking (hoping) the locks are long enough to take the back up and sport a messy/shaggy bob (love THIS too but think I need my hair to grow out a bit more). Anyhow, I know the focus of this blog is fashion; however, upon uploading that first pic all I could think was, "get me some damn scissors, stat!" Quick roundup on the rig--pulled together, comfy, neutral, with a splash of Monogram & Leopard makes for my kinda look. Gotta 'big wig' meeting this morning for work so I've gotta scoot---make it a good one, gang!

Classic with a Twist
jeans (DL1961 on SALE), tank (Target), heels (Rebecca Minkoff ), necklace (J.Crew), ring (Kendra Scott similar UNDER $25), bag (Louis Vuitton), watch (Tag Heuer), ring (Anna Beck), shades (Ray Ban)

Can't get much more classic than jeans & a tank/tee. Habitually, I tend to go for color when getting dressed, but sometimes it's nice to opt for the classics. With that being said, I just couldn't help myself and had to toss on these Leopard Rebecca Minkoff Heels (then again, in my book leo is always a classic). Sidenote, we've got some good sales going on with the upcoming holiday. These DL1961's have been a constant since purchasing them earlier this year--major sale on these pups--so much so, I may have snagged a second pair because I literally wear them ALL of the time! Another major 4th sale is Shopbop's. Check out some of my current sale craves below. Make it a good one & cheers to a Happy 4th of July !

Yellow Pops Camel
coat (J.Crew 30% Off ), jeans (7FAM), shoes (Michael Kors old LOVE THESE & THESE), shirt (J.Crew), shades (Gucci), ring (Kendra Scott on MAJOR sale), clutch (Treesje, love THIS), necklace (vintage), bracelet (J.Crew)

My search for the perfect camel-esque coat has finally (after two years) ended! Enter the J.Crew Stadium Cloth Coat. With it's perfect heathered camel shade, exposed gold zipper, and popped collar (big fan), it is the absolute perfect topper for me (and it's 30% off today at J.Crew). While last week I plugged the neutral palette, I just couldn't resist adding a blast of yellow (repeat offender). Y'all make it a good one!
