A Palm Romp

Once again, this number was avail yesterday pre Instagram Post and now it appears she's long gone...again dangit.  I'll keep an eye out because it was restocked once, so fingers crossed!  I wore this lovely to a little summer soiree at Lexington Country Club several weeks ago and it is equal parts comfy as it is summer festive (just don't forget a healthy dose of double sided tape).  Since rompers are all the rage this season, I'm sharing some of my faves below (see PLUNGE, TROPICAL, STRIPES).

Sheer Perfection

Summer is the perfect time to sport a slew of different dresses.  Over the next week or so, I'm going to be sharing a few lovelies from French Connection that will fit the bill for a handful of summer occasions.  Case in point, this Floral Off the Shoulder is an absolute slam dunk for a summer wedding be it in the day or night.  I am so in love with the sheer overlay and how the stems play a game of peek-a-boo.  And the fact that it's off the shoulder only enhances its femininity, am I right?  True to my print mixing form, I tossed in a striped clutch (SIMILAR) to add a fun little contrast.  Basically, can someone just invite me to a wedding already so I can wear this bad boy?  Or even a baby/bridal shower--she's just too perfect!

The Floral Romp

Nothing annoys the ever loving hell outta me than when I go to post something for y'all and that nonsense is UNAVAIL---dangit y'all, I'm sorry.  So this romp is no longer available but the TWO PIECE is and I kinda love it just as much!  In honor of this bad boy being sold out, I went ahead and scoured out some other romps/jumps I'm clocking----THIS OFF THE SHOULDER being one that I just snagged about 20 mins ago along with this FLORAL PLUNGE JUMPER.  Needless to say, they're all the rage in my world currently and I intend on packing several for my trip to Sonoma next week.  Feel free to take a gander at the others I'm contemplating below (example A).  Cheers to a great start to your week, gang!  Make it a good one!

I've long been an advocate of finding pieces that are both affordable, fun, and versatile. Those pieces that can be used in a variety of ways and add an element of interest to your rigs.  I have to say, I've always loved a good summer scarf, but the PAREO kind of ups the ante when talking summer accessories.  I mean, what other accessory can serve as a dress, scarf, skirt, and shirt?  Not sure one comes to mind, am I right?  This adorably vibrant PAREO from Target is one of those that you can (and SHOULD) travel with and carry with you at all times this summer.  Simply put, this lovely is a chameleon and a beautiful one at that.  Target has a bevy of these beauties in stock and today we're taking a gander at the many ways you can style the pareo.  

Cocktails with the gals?  Absolutely---by adding a vintage gold necklace and metallic heels, the pareo is elevated to a perfect dress for a GNO.  Heading to a bbq, concert, or day at the beach--why not let the pareo serve as the perfect halter complement to your cutoffs!  A pair of sandals and straw beach bag serve to complete this summertime look.  Beach or poolside?  No better coverup than this gorgeous embroidered pareo----goof proof to tie and/or wrap around the bikini.  And finally, if headed out for a casual day of errands, lunch, or even travel--this lovely serves as the perfect summer scarf!  I just looped mine around several times and made sure the little tassels were in full view.

A Lovely Lace

With a DRESS this lovely, nothing else is really needed.  A statement CUFF from ADELE and a simple pair of Nude Heels is all that is necessary to complement this BEAUTY from Morton James. I wore this maxi to the pool party at rS con in Dallas and def intend to sport her on my trip to Sonoma next month.
