Dockside

sweater (Pink Pineapple Shop c/o how cute is THISTHIS, & THIS), shorts (Gap, last summer, LOVE THESE PAIRS and THESE), sneaks (Vans), hat (HM see similar HERE and HERE), rings (Lagos, Anna Beck), cuff (Morton James, Lexington, KY), shades (Ray Ban), belt (J.Crew), bracelets (Omar + Elsie, Sylvia Benson c/o)

Still coming to you from sunny South Florida.  It should come as no surprise that I'm totally smitten with this anchor sweater from Pink Pineapple Shop, because really, is there anything anchor'd or nautical that I don't love?  That would be a big fat no.  Paired with some stripes and I believe I've got one of my fave warmer weather looks!  Cheers to a wonderful week, gang--kids and I are headed back to the KY-- GO CATS!

Last Resorts

sweater & bracelets (Lilly Pulitzer, Matilda's/Cabana of Stuart), tunic, tote, jeans, sandals (Matilda's/Cabana of Stuart), shades (Gucci), necklaces (vintage), ring (Lagos)
Happy New Year, Gang!  Alas, I am back in the Bluegrass and sharing my last batch of beachside looks from home.  Talk about going from one extreme to the next, surrounded by palm trees on Friday & sledding in the snow come Saturday morning!  I hope everyone had a fantastic start to 2013.  While it may be cliche to talk resolutions, I am going to share mine..I feel like it will somehow make me more accountable psychologically if I put it in print for y'all to see!  In 2013, I resolve to:
1.  Be more punctual (I am the worst and it is such a terrible trait)
2.  Save more dough & nix the plastic (this will prove to be most challenging for moi and yet, will force me to be more creative in the rig arena and utilize my closet more than buying new pieces).
3.  Put down the technologies.  I found when I was home, I was less connected & it felt fantastic.  Not to mention I believe it to be a good example to set for my girls.

Switching gears, I've thanked them before, but I'll do it again.  A big thanks to Dana & the gals at Matilda's/Cabana of Stuart.  Remember kids, they ship out of state AND it is tax free for Non-Floridians...I will def be taking advantage of that (772. 221.8280).  Mrs. Lindsey Potter, you are a true talent & I thank you for splashing some sunshine onto the blog.... Here's to a fabulous 2013--let's make it the best one!
