I've stated it before and I'll state it again, even though it sounds a smidge selfish: once the season rolls around, I definitely shop for the ones I love, but make no mistake--girlfriend will snag a few things for herself, too! Case in point, I've been on a HUGE sweater kick and the Ready to Wear: Tommy Hilfiger Collection exclusively sold at Macy's is serving up some super cute wintery threads. Fair Isles, Foxes, Ponchos, Cableknits--you name it, they've got a sweater that fits your wintery taste! I have to say, though, no winter look is complete without a topper. Hard for me to choose between this maroon and navy puff, but the fur hood gives the navy an edge! It is simply the coziest!
But enough about what I'm loving from the Tommy Hilfiger Collection---let's chat up what would make a great goodie for mom, sis, MIL, or even BFF. Basically any and all of the above, or denim if you're feeling daring (how cute are these patches). But if you're looking for something universally flattering, cozy, and well received--I'd say the Swing Sweater would be our best bet. These Checks have my sister's name ALL OVER IT! My mother is going to LOVE this Cream Cozy Cardigan. There's truly so dang much to choose from at a great price point (Macy's knocks it out of the park with their sales).
