Happy Memorial Day, gang! I love this holiday for a slew of reasons. Most importantly, for what it represents and showing gratitude & remembrance for those who have served and continue to do so. Secondly, it kicks off my favorite season of the year & welcomes a more relaxed state of mind. My girls are out of school, the hustle and bustle has simmered, and vacations are right around the corner! And then there's the fashion--easy, breezy, classic, fresh, & all Americana--these typify summer in my book--as does the above rig. A short sleeved chambray & a white lace skirt can be worn all throughout the season in a number of ways--I feel comfy & pulled together in this look which are two main criteria for my rigs. Dangit if Blogger isn't throwing some major mayhem at my post this morn!! Not a stinking clue what is going on here (awaiting some troubleshooting from graphic designer), but my sincerest apologies for the lack of order on the layout, gang! The OCD in me is about to jump out of my skin, but it was either now or never for my post so I just said to heck with it. Afterall, it's the rig we ultimately care about, right? Speaking of, These Pants are doing it for me these days. They are the perfect foundation for a fun splash of color (and they just so happen to slenderize the stems which ain't a bad thing either). Technically they are classified as a jean, but I'm telling you, this look could totally be worn to a business casual office setting.

At first glance, you may feel pigeon holed by these Pink Trousers and think their pairings might be limited. Quite the contrary; however, as I have paired these lovelies with quite a bit in the few weeks I've had them.
My favorite Striped Blazer made for a sharp ensemble, while a Cozy Grey Sweatshirt & Leopard Skimmers have a chic, relaxed feel. How cute would they look with a Classic Camel Coat? A pant that gives you multiple pairings equals the perfect pant for me!
