To say that I'm thrilled it's Friday would be an immense understatement---had quite the week of traveling on the road for work and I am zonked!  When I tell you the look above is such a love of mine, I'm not fibbing---it's hard to pick up on in the images, but the faint seersucker blazer (collar popped), a baseball tee, some distressed denim, & chucks---oooooohhh boy, she's a keeper!   I feel completely myself wearing rigs like this--pulled together yet ridiculously comfy!  You can shop the look below.

I have been in a majorly casual mood here lately.  It's no surprise that I love a good button down with jeans--I literally could (and sometimes do) where it everyday!  Also not surprising is my love of leopard, be it a big or small dose. It adds just the right amount of print mix to this look.  Leopard is a total neutral in my book so don't be afraid to add it with your rigs for an unexpected pop.  Y'all enjoy your weekend!!

The Puffer Vest. Oh is she a winter staple indeed.  I own this pup in about 4 different shades and wear them tirelessly through the winter.  Paired over denim jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, sleeved dresses...they add the perfect layered element of sport chic to any rig....and more importantly, they are terribly cozy & warm.  Do your winter wardrobe a favor and snag one...see some options below (I couldn't resist the fur because it is on major sale)!  Make it a good one!

Hats Off

Here's the thing with short hair...Yes, it's super easy and takes next to no time to style.  However, on those days when you need to get up and go and may have a slight case of bed head, there's no pony to fall back on--it ain't pretty, gang!  My children tend to refer to me come morning time as the "Rooster."  Thank heavens I've landed this lovely HAT as it serves as a nice little safety net.  One last little tidbit, untuck the blouse, replace the jeggings with "leather" leggings and ADORABLE ballet flats, and you've got yourself another easy, breezy rig.  Make it a good one!

As terribly hypocritical as it may sound, I tend to underwhelm on our Friday date nights.  Granted, we are quite the movie junkies which doesn't necessarily call for my best dressed; however, the least I could do for my guy is sport something other than Lulu Lemon....Sad but true.  So tonight, this ole' wife is going to switch up the game plan.....

Staple.  This navy dress, my dears, is a nice, solid, staple.  It can be worn alone (sans belt if you so choose). It can be worn with a leather or UTILITARIAN JACKET (a must for the FALL).  It can be worn with a trench.  It WILL be worn with tights this fall/winter.  It can be paired with ballets, sandals, or heels.  It can be layered over a collared shirt.  It can be neutral or splashed with color (pink, turq, yellow, red, green).  It is without a doubt one of my fave lovelies in my closet!  So much so that I am super tempted to snag one of these pups below:
