Quite excited to be teaming up with these beauties above for a little Holiday Party 411. Clearly Nikki and I were on the same wavelength but I'm loving how she kicked the Jumpsuit up a notch with a Jeweled Belt. Danielle and Katie both had fur on the brain (BTW, thank you miss Katie---I snatched up this SNOOD at 30% off upon adoring yours). And Miss Ashley, may I please borrow that fantastic skirt for my holiday party tonight? I'm loving everyone's rendition of holiday wear...I think the takeaway's are---jumpsuits, sparkle, emerald green, and fur--lots of fur! Ladylike or a little more playful, either of these looks would be perfect for the Derby (big thanks again to Danielle for snagging us some fun little frocks---doesn't she just look gorg). I think one thing to point out--we've got a lot going on with our top halves--so I believe it to be best to keep other accessories to a minimum and let the hat or fascinator be the highlight. While Danielle is keeping it classic with her lace shift & clutch, we decided to play my look up a bit with a colorful clutch---yes, this day is one of classic tradition; however, it doesn't mean you can't infuse some playfulness into your look---make it a good one, gang!

So first off--apologies for the insane amount of repetition these Jeans are experiencing--clearly I am in love with them. Secondly, this Blazer...she is compliments of one of my faves, Danielle from Lou What Wear. Talk about a gal who I immediately connected with--goodness! I had a pretty good feeling we'd be fast friends since our online banter was solid; however, upon meeting Danielle, we just instantly clicked. Funny, charismatic, and statuesque (her pics don't do her long legs justice), I just adored her right off the bat. It's October here in the Bluegrass and that means a plethora of things. Pumpkin patches, insanely gorgeous foliage, UK Football, and my personal favorite--Keeneland!
This Friday kicks off the October run and two things will no doubt be the main attraction: the horses & the FASHION! It's fanciness galore and I am not going to deny that my betting is constantly distracted by the overload of fashion.
