I knew the moment I saw This J.Crew Striped Popover, I would have to have it--but then again, I knew everyone else would, too!  Classic & fresh, it's a staple that will stay in your closet for ages.  With that being said, I wanted to spruce it up a bit & make it stand out.  Solution--the monogram!  What better way to add a unique touch than slapping on a "Laverne & Shirley-esque" Initial on it?  I have to say, I've worn the hell outta this sucker and plan to do so through the duration of the spring/summer.  Alright, gang, make it a good one & make sure to check out The Shelf Giveaway from yesterday--I added a few additional items & will continue to do so!

Once Friday & the Weekend rolls around, I am definitely ready for a good ole' casual rig.  These two options serve up some casual ease and do so while being stylish & fun!  Loving a little leopard & stripe pairing--adds a fun element of quirk.  Can you tell by 5th shot, Kristin Tatem and I tend to get a little slap happy during our pic sessions--little rascal snapped me loosening up!  Now GIVEAWAY time.....

Lordy, Lordy do I have a day ahead of me....LONG drive to Paducah, KY (ever heard of it...doubtful)!  Leave it to bright colors to liven up both my workday & roadtrip (currently accepting any iTunes jams suggestions). Totally unintentional to be top to bottom J.Crew, however, I cannot deny my affinity--just plain outstanding in my book!  I'm currently craving quite a bit:

You know why I'm loving a Peter Pan collar?  It's the perfect little frame for a fun bunch of baubles!  Even more fun than that is the fact that Piperlime has 20% off sitewide TODAY--translation: MY TOP IS UNDER 30 SMACKS!  Would be a crime to not take advantage of that, right?  Therefore, I took the liberty of purchasing this fun little LEATHER PEPLUM TOP ...cannot wait until she arrives!  Make it a good one, gang!

This little number has endless possibilities.  Let's discuss this frock's potential.....

1.  Paired with turquoise (whether it be jewels, clutch, or kicks)

2.  Popped with Purple or Red (see above)

3.  Complemented with Royal Blue or Navy (tons of Gold baubles, too!)

4.  Ballet flat, sandal, or heel friendly

5.  Toss on a Blazer or Jean Jacket (sleeves rolled)

6.  Belt if you so choose

7.  Wear to a baby or bridal shower

8.  BBQ'd with flat sandals

9.  dress to impress on date night

10.  Dad's Day brunch

Bottom line, you can repeat the heck out of this little number...and no one would be the wiser!
