You all know that the button down blouse & jeans rig is never going to subside for me, right?  I do my best to switch it up some days, but it always seems that I resort back to this classic & timeless look.  To avoid boredom, I try to infuse little variances whether it be a fun ballet, rolled skinny, or lovely Clutch (I am slightly obsessed with Clare Vivier's selection--TDF)!  Alright, Gang, you all have a great start to your week---I've got a busy one ahead of me!

Cozy Stripes

Granted, my husband asked me upon wearing this scarf, "What, did you pull a muscle in your neck?"...I can't help but adore a good, cozy Infinity Scarf.  The fact it's in a prepster stripe---even better!  I actually wore this sucker to the pumpkin patch with the babes this weekend with a coordinating stripe sweatshirt, and it was quite cozy and cute.   One other tidbit, I tend to consider stripes in a navy palette neutral.  You can pair em' with polkadots, complementing stripes, checks, leopard, and floral..."infinite" options, indeed!  Y'all make it a good one!

Looking for a way to infuse a little creativity into your work wear?  Deconstruction of the suit is one of the easiest ways I know how.  Be it pairing the jacket with a skirt or possibly tossing on a vest with the pants, there are a multitude of ways to add some zest to your power suit.  Don't get me wrong, there are times when the agenda calls for the simplicity of the suit---but for today, we're going to incorporate a little personality.

Lordy, Lordy do I have a day ahead of me....LONG drive to Paducah, KY (ever heard of it...doubtful)!  Leave it to bright colors to liven up both my workday & roadtrip (currently accepting any iTunes jams suggestions). Totally unintentional to be top to bottom J.Crew, however, I cannot deny my affinity--just plain outstanding in my book!  I'm currently craving quite a bit:
