Seminole Style: Knotted Maxi

dress (HM see similar UNDER $10, UNDER $12, LOVE THIS ONE ON SALE), sneaks (Superga Similar, how cute are THE HOUNDSTOOTH), necklaces (Kendra Scott ℅, Kendra Scott ℅), hat (Saddle Stitches Monogram ℅), clutch (Sole Society ℅), jacket (GAP), rings (anna beck, Kendra Scott ℅)

So while normally I'll go uber casual for game day, from time to time I'll up the ante with a little Black Maxi.  No better way to keep her casual than with some SNEAKS and a Denim Jacket.  That's not to say I won't toss on some gems.  Thankfully for us, Kendra Scott has got us covered when it comes to game day jewelry.  Necklaces, Rings, you name it, she's got it!  Make sure to check out the others gals' Seminole Style (Kristin,  Cathy, & Lacey ) to see how they styled their Kendra Scott. Y'all make it a great one and

PS:  An ENORMOUS thank you to Stephanie from White Coat Wardrobe for snapping these pics on the fly!  KT and I had a scheduling conflict and Stephanie was a total gem and came to my rescue..and the gal's a PA, too, so she listened to my congested daughter's chest and diagnosed her on the spot--a twofer if I've ever seen one!

Spots On Spots

bag (Clare Vivier, Omar + Elsie also available online HERE), blouse (Loft, see similar dots HERE HERE & HERE), denim (Paige c/o Blossom of Lexington also avail online HERE), necklace (Kendra Scott c/o), bracelets (Kate Spade, Coordinates, c/o Omar + Elsie, cuff Morton James), rings (Anna Beck, Lagos), shades (Gucci)

Happy Sunday, Gang!  Not sure about your parts of the world, but here in Lex, we're having an absolutely stunning Sunday.
Always a lover of Duel Spots, I knew the moment I spotted this Clare Vivier Spotted Tote at Omar + Elsie, it had to be mine.  And when I tell you it goes with so much more than meets the eye, I ain't lying!  I basically carried it my entire weekend in Dallas and have continued to do so since.  For me, a look such as this goes the distance--polished and put together and yet has elements of detail that make it more than just a jeans-and-blouse-kinda-look.  Definitely plan on wearing for an evening out with some gal pals or tossed on with ballets for a daytime look.
Cheers to a lovely Sunday and swing on back by  tomorrow for a new outfit post--Make it a good one!

All Cinched Up

dress (HM Similar c/o), belt (ADA, purchased at Thread), vest (J.Crew), sandals (Loeffler Randall), clutch (JJ Winters), ring (Kendra Scott, Lagos), shades (Gucci), watch (Cartier), cuff (unknown)
I cannot tell you how many times I've worn this little number---once being on a fabulous night out in NYC (sans the vest).  It's terribly easy, breezy, and the draping on the sides & back give it a little zing.  I'm thinking once it gets a little chillier I can toss on a Leather Jacket.  Hope y'all are having a fantastic week thus far---cheers to a lovely Thursday--thanks for swinging on by!

Relaxed Prints

pants (Loft), blouse (J.Crew), shoes (Boutique 9, Bloomingdales), clutch (Kate Spade, love THIS), ring (Kendra Scott), necklace (Maya Brenner), watch (Michael Kors), shades (Prada)
A little variation on my go to button down & pants look.  I wore this look out to dinner with some friends a few weeks ago and I have to say--I am totally into its laid back yet polished vibe.  The silky fabric of this Blouse & Pants (not to mention the elastic waistband) allow for some breathing room & are seasonally appropriate.  You know I love a good print mix so this stripe & paisley pairing are a match made in heaven in my book!  Alright gang, you all make it a good start to your week!

May Flowers

shorts (LOFT), shell (LOFT, extra 60% off), blazer (Aqua, Bloomingdales), shoes (Pour La Victoire), clutch (Kate Spade), ring (Kendra Scott), ring (Anna Beck), cuff (unknown), shades (Gucci)

One of my fave months of the year is upon us...my little gal turns 4 this week, school is almost out, warmth is here to stay--good stuff all the way around!  As I mentioned on Monday, totally digging the shorts/blazer combo...this time around, I wanted a more feminine feel so I opted for silky fabrics.  Due to the 'flowy' nature of the floral shorts & shell, I chose to tailor it up a bit by throwing on the blazer as a topper.
Lastly---you know, I haven't been into a LOFT in ages...possibly since I first got out of college and into the real world where I needed workwear.  No particular reason why, just wasn't in my circuit of places I like to shop...until now.  I hopped into our Whole Foods a few weekends ago and a new LOFT (Lexington Green for us locals) was having their grand opening event next door.  Stumbled on in and good grief---great little spring/summer numbers all throughout the store (with a good portion of the store being on SALE).  They've definitely got a modern feminine mix going on which I just love.  Shoutout to my gal, Elizabeth, for making my shopping experience such a lovely one--and tracking down the shell pictured above!  Make it a good one!

Yellow Pops Camel

coat (J.Crew 30% Off ), jeans (7FAM), shoes (Michael Kors old LOVE THESE & THESE), shirt (J.Crew), shades (Gucci), ring (Kendra Scott on MAJOR sale), clutch (Treesje, love THIS), necklace (vintage), bracelet (J.Crew)

My search for the perfect camel-esque coat has finally (after two years) ended!  Enter the J.Crew Stadium Cloth Coat.  With it's perfect heathered camel shade, exposed gold zipper, and popped collar (big fan), it is the absolute perfect topper for me (and it's 30% off today at J.Crew).  While last week I plugged the neutral palette, I just couldn't resist adding a blast of yellow (repeat offender).  Y'all make it a good one!

Classical Camel

dress (Trina Turk, AJs, Lexington KY), purse (Kate Spade, AJs, Lexington, KY), necklace (Stacey Gudeman, Adele, Lex, KY), watch (Cartier), ring (Kendra Scott, Voce, Lexington, KY), shoes & shades (Michael Kors, old, LOVE these, too), bracelet (J.Crew)
Don't you think camel is quintessentially fall?  It's such a classic and rich neutral that I have always loved.  Whether you choose to keep it relatively monotone or spruce it up with a touch of color, it's one of those shades that will flatter almost anyone.  Speaking of flattering, the sheath dress truly plays up a woman's figure.  I love how it isn't revealing and yet showcases a woman's shape.  I envision this lovely in a variety of ways.  You can pair your sheaths with tights, or a blazer, or even top her off with a statement necklace or scarf--options a' plenty!  Take a gander at some of my favorites this season below.  Have a great weekend, gang!

Wrist Candy

clockwise from top Left 1. skull bracelet (BaubleBar, Jcrew, GAP) 2. bracelets (Jcrew) ring (Lagos) 3. rope bracelet (Kiel James Patrick, GAP), watch (TIMEX, Jcrew) 4. watch & bracelet (Jcrew), friendship bracelet (Jennifer Zeuner) 5.  ring (Kendra Scott), watch (Cartier), bangle (Jcrew) 6. spikes (Asos), cuff & leather wrap (BaubleBar)
Ah yes, clearly the only time in my life I will ever be referred to as being "stacked."  I digress, gang....Stacking is all the rage and it looks like it's here to stay!  I like to start with one key piece & build her up one by one until she looks just right.  I will say; however, I am a fan of a little dainty wrist as well (see wrist 5).  BaubleBar has killer wrist candy AND you can get 10 smacks off your first order!

Cotton Candy

dress (TIBI AJs Casuals, Lexington, KY),  shoes (Zara--ON SALE $39.99..I KID YOU NOT!), ring (Kendra Scott), earrings (Loren Hope, Design Darling), bag (Kate Spade)
Aside from the delicious color, the flange back, & the zipper detail on the sleeve--you know what I love most about this shift...the numerous color combos we can create!  Yellow, mint, orange, nude, gold, navy, red---how about black to carry you through the fall?  Or various shades of pink (thinking pale) for monotone loveliness?  Limitless I say!
